Absences
and Makeup Work -
"Absence"
is defined as non-attendance by a student during a regularly
scheduled and paid contact hour. Students are urged to attend
all contact hours paid for. Although students are not
penalized, attendance is monitored and an overall attendance
record is kept as part of each student's file.
Students
may do Makeup Work at any time during their training. All
Makeup Work, upon approval of the Director, will become a part
of the student's file.
When
adverse weather conditions occur throughout the school year,
Court Reporting Institute of Kansas City will follow the
school closure policy of the Shawnee Mission Kansas Public School
